What is the standard block size for slab foam?+
The standard block size for slab foam at Tjikko is 100cm × 120cm × 20cm. This block is then sliced into 20 standard slices of 100cm × 120cm × 1cm each. Further custom cutting to your final product dimensions is available. Custom block sizes are available on request.
Can slab foam be cut to custom dimensions?+
Yes. Tjikko provides slicing and custom cutting services. The standard output is 20 slices per block, each yielding approximately 24 pieces after secondary cutting. What density grades are available for slab foam?+
Slab foam is available in the same density range as molded foam: D10 to D90 kg/m³. Common grades for mattress production are D25–D35 (comfort layer) and D35–D50 (support layer). Soundproofing panels typically use D25–D35. Contact us for the right density recommendation for your application.
